This hotel was so iconic Italy. Impeccably clean, service was absolutely perfect and the location is optimal to enjoy the sights of Sorrento. Delicious breakfast and coffee as well. The rooms were small which we now know is typical in Europe. That didn’t matter to us because we were not there most of the time. The rooms were super clean and although the king bed was actually two twin beds pushed together it didn’t really bother us… maybe because we were so tired from travel adventures!

This is the optimal location for visiting in the month of May to see a perfect sunset. Even in other months of the season I’m sure it is absolutely spectacular. It’s very convenient to walk and find restaurants and the bus station and shops in Imerovigoli.

All of the staff at this hotel were so eager to make our experience perfect. They are very proud of what they do on the island of Santorini and we were grateful to experience that. When we checked in and out, there was staff readily available to carry our luggage up the 125 steps to and from the street!

The staff is so attentive to cleanliness. Someone came around every morning to check the Jacuzzi to make sure it was clean and we had everything we needed.

This is a must do in my opinion for anyone going to visit Santorini. It really does cover the whole entire island on a high level and then travelers can decide where they’d like to spend additional time. Our guide was absolutely amazing. He knew this island extremely well, and was able to give us lots of awesome information about the history, the highlights the best places to see the sunset, and even brought us to a secret place that the travelers and most tourist didn’t know about. It was a really great experience for us.

Amazing overall quality of experience. If there was anything at all that we would change, we found ourselves definitely anxious to wrap up the day after 5 1/2 hours. If the company had offered a bottle of wine to watch the sunset with that would have enhanced the experience but all we had was a bottle of water, and we started feeling very hungry and ready to get back.

Just back from a 9 day walk through the history of Rome, Athens and Naxos, organized by Harris and his team. We learned so much, saw so much and did it effortlessly, thanks to the organization of Harris. It was amazing to just show up to places, have our transportation ready with friendly drivers and lovely accommodations, knowledgeable and fun private guides. Our highlight was definitely Pompeii, with a fantastic and passionate local guide. In Rome, our private guide lead us through the deeper recesses of the Colosseum. While the schedule was busy, it was not overpacked. Naxos was a revelation, the island just smells good when hiking! Our food tour on the last day was the perfect end. It was all we could have hoped for.

He was responsive to any questions or changes we had, and the tour guides for all of our activities were knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. COns: We had a cooking class in Florence, although it was nice it took up our whole day, considering we were only in Florence for 2 days, I would not have recommended this activity. The hotels were in really good locations but the Athens hotel room was incredibly tiny. It was soo tiny there was no bathroom. just a shower, toilet and sink but they were in the room, instead of separate room. I didn't like this at all, but the pro here is Harris was able to get me an upgrade in Santorini to make up for this.

Using Kimkim, made my trip so much easier and stress-free as all transportation and schedule were already planned out so it took off that stress of having to plan things out,

Antonio on Syros went above and beyond with his tour. It was the "white glove" treatment. I recommend him. The Akron Hotel was beautiful and the view from our window spectacular.
On to Naxos - we would have liked being closer to the beach but everything was very good. The second day was very windy so we shifted great and toured the marble city instead of Plaka Beach. Our driver spoke no English so it was a quiet ride, We toured the Kastelo and the next day on the food tour with Kyriaki we visited all but 2 of the stops we went to the day before. Glad to see our choices validated!
Then to Santorini; what a beautiful place! the room was exquisite. our favorite right after the Akron. We would recommend room 22b at the Makris Beach hotel! Bello was our tour guide for the trip to Oia, he was excellent, keep him. Our day trip on the catamaran was stunning. We were on the Time Out. The captain and crew we competent and hard working, seeing the city of Oia and the beaches from the water was a unique perspective. Snorkling was lovely as was the on-baord food. The icing on the cake was when the captain stopped the boat so we could all see the sun go down into the Agean sea. Truly memorable. The only thing I would have wanted was late check out from the Makris Beach Hotel, we could have enjoyed the beach one more time.

Andreas, who was our guide in Chania for the food tour was also awesome! The only trip I would caution planning for people is the Samaria Gorge hike. We consider ourselves very fit for our age, but we found it to be a bit strenuous. We are glad we completed it, but we would never do it again. Were the views worth it??? Maybe. We have hiked the west in the USA and have seen the same and we didn't have to put near the effort into those hikes!
Nicoletta at the Grotta hotel was the nicest, most generous person. She is the owner and you feel the love the minute you walk into the hotel.
Tinos was our favorite island.
I could go on and on, but honestly, we do not have one complaint. Harris did a spectacular job and had great patience dealing with us throughout the planning stages with Covid.

All of our guides were amazing during the trips as well - I wish I could remember all of their names. Every driver was nice and punctual, though Toni with iCareLimo was exceptional. Harris was wonderful to plan with, and he and Evyenia were there anytime we needed them during the trip! All of our guides were amazing during the trips as well - I wish I could remember all of their names. Every driver was nice and punctual, though Toni with iCareLimo was exceptional. We enjoyed every single city and accommodations, though Naples was a place that we would have rather traded for an extra night in Sorrento or Rome. The pizza was spectacular, but the city itself was not particularly tourist or honeymoon friendly. We absolutely LOVED and enjoyed every second of our trip and thank Harris for coordinating everything for us so we could just follow the plans and enjoy our honeymoon

We really liked the location of our hotel in Rome (Campo de Fiori) although we would have preferred to stay in the main part of the hotel instead of the apartment. Excellent breakfast in a really beautiful hotel.

Our time in Sorrento was lovely. The hotel was very uniquely located - down on the beach at the Marina - and the view was fantastic.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent! Marina Picolla 73. I wasn’t sure at first, the beach isn’t swimmable out front because it’s a marina - but the beach clubs were a quick walk. And this hotel is in a quiet area compared to the hustle and bustle up top in town. We needed a quieter place to come back to. If you like the busyness of the square, you might prefer a hotel up top.

There’s a lift to get you up there, staff will fill you in on this.

Again, the tours were very good. We took an all day boat tour of the Amalfi Coast (8 hours stopping at Amalfi and Positano and then a swim). It was great, but a bit long. The boat was overcrowded and we were told we needed to lie down on the bow of the boat while in transit so the captain could see. That wasn’t ok with us - so we figured out a way to prop ourselves up. The boat wasn’t comfortable and there were too many of us. That was a miss. But we do suggest a trip down the coast.

Also a few hours on Capri is a must. The ferry is an easy ride. Expect LOTS of people everywhere. We were definitely peopled-out by the end of our time in Italy.

There is a lot of walking to be done in Italy. Bring comfortable shoes.

A home run by Harris. Both Greece and Italy were well organized and everything met and exceeded our hopes and expectations.

Liked the location and the staff were excellent. Food was quite good. Silly rules about not being able to drink our own wine on the rooftop terrace. Room was quite nice. But the bed was very uncomfortable. Kind of like sleeping on concrete and made for some very long nights. A hotel in this price point should have better beds. We wouldn’t stay here again because of the beds.

The location of this hotel, right in the market is fantastic. The roof top terrace is wonderful! The main hotel is absolutely stunning with so much character and charm. We didn’t see the rooms in the main hotel because we had booked a suite. Oddly, the suites are in a different beholding across the square. And that building deserves a 3/5. While it was nice to have a bit more space, the suite lacked character and charm. The three flights up to our room were ridiculous and the lighting in the place meant we did the stairs with our phone flashlights. If you have any mobility issues at all this part of the hotel is not for you. Honestly, it was very frustrating. No real view and located in a dirty back alley. Limited hot water was also a problem. The bed was comfortable though, which is important to us. Breakfast was held in the basement of the main hotel and it was excellent. A beautiful building and perfectly located. While we recommend this hotel, we advise against the suites in the other building.

Private Amalfi Coast Boat Tour from Positano or Amalfi

This was the best way to end our honeymoon! Our skipper was amazing, pointed out some sights to take our photos against, but gave us a lot of privacy. It was an amazing boat tour with a quick 20 minute stop off at Amalfi for us to walk around and get a snack. He was extremely courteous and it was an excellent experience!!!

Where I felt a bit let down was with the communication aspect. Certain information wasn't appropriately communicated to hotels ahead of time and when we went on a food tour, they hadn't been informed about allergies so my boyfriend missed out on trying multiple dishes, even though we were told that kimkim would notify them about our allergies. For the price, it was very unfortunate to not be able to participate in every part of the food tour. Other than that, it was a great experience!

In Naxos the beaches were exquisite, pristine , clear tourquios waters, best beaches ever and I'm a carribean native..
We spent time with a local family on their farm, Maria and Giannis we shared stories and they told us of the wine and cheese making process, as we cooked a delicious meal with produce from their farm.
The sunsets and beautiful blue domes of Santorini were spectacular.
We were serenaded atop Fira, as we watched the sunset.
Our tour guide Georgina was sweet, funny and personable as she took us to the Santorini highlights.
The wine tour and tasting and volcanoe cruise were wonderful activities to wrap up our visit.
Oh I can't forget we had a great dinner overlooking a wine vineyard to celebrate my girl.
My kids and husband and I loved the vacation.
The rooms were beautifully designed and accommodating.
Food was delicious.
